Self-guided Wine tours

Every time my family comes to visit me one of our favorite things to do is go and explore Tuscany’s beautiful countryside and wineries. While I’m not an expert on wine, I do enjoy tasting and learning about the individual wineries; especially the history of each of the estates. Some of the more famous estates date back to the 1100’s!  Tuscans, as they should be, are very proud of their wine and I must say I feel so lucky to live within a thirty minute drive to some of their most famous vineyards. Please read my blog post explaining Tuscany’s wine region here.

Here I will list all of my favorite wineries in Tuscany, by geographic area, and include all the information you would need to know in order to visit on your own and without a guide.
