Ruffino is the largest wine making company in Tuscany and is among the top 5 in Italy. Their wines are exported all over the world and have won many prestigious awards. They started producing wine in 1870 and were one of the first to export wine outside of Italy. In 1916 Ruffino was chosen to be the official wine supplier to the Italian royal court. You can read more about the history on their website. Today they own and produce over 10 different wines in 6 different estates throughout Tuscany. Their wines include Chianti, Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Reserva, Brunello di Montalcino, a super Tuscan, and several different white wines.
